Tree Guard

Tree Guard is non-toxic adhesive for the protection of trees from crawling insects. It acts as a protective pest barrier blocking insects from crawling up the trunks of trees by trapping them permanently on its glue field.

Crawling insects that climb up the trunks of trees and need to reach their tops in order to mate, lay eggs or feed, can devastate the tree. Some of these insects include ants, snails, caterpillars (including codling moth) and weevils.

Tree Guard is chemical free, ready to use, waterproof & weatherproof.

It is suitable for trapping, monitoring and reducing the insect pest population without the use of toxic chemicals.

Application Method:

• The most suitable position to apply Tree Guard is under the foliage of the tree trunk
• Use a type of plastic cling wrap, masking tape or packaging tape to wrap around the tree trunk
• On the wrap, using a spatula, apply Tree Guard covering at least a 10cm in width and 3-5 mm in thickness
• When the band is fairly full with insects, discard it and repeat the process
